Jessee Skittrall-Lemons brings a deep, multi-generational connection to the hairdressing industry, with six generations of hairdressers in the family and three decades of professional experience. Based in Washington State, Jessee continues to work behind the chair while also leading education and technical development that supports working professionals across the industry.

Known for progressive cutting, thoughtful consultation strategy, and creative yet practical haircolor work, Jessee has worked internationally onstage and presented to global audiences. Jessee has also trained alongside and learned from respected industry leaders including Sam Brocato, Mary Brunetti, Ruth Roche, Vivienne Mackinder, Oscar and Wendy Bond, Scott Cole & Linda Yodice, and David Kinigson. Career highlights include serving on the Kadus Professional/Brocato Design Team and leading the Pacific Northwest Kadus Professional Education Team.

Jessee holds certifications through both the American Board of Certified Haircolorists and the International Board of Certified Haircolorists, and currently serves as Technical Coach for KIN North America. Jessee has been a featured presenter at the ABCH Summit every year since its inception, presenting to sold-out audiences and contributing to the Summit’s reputation for advanced, practical education. Jessee also serves as Executive Director of the Board of Certified Haircolorists and is the founder of the Atarashii Apprentice Program, a federally registered apprenticeship pathway expanding access to licensure in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, manicuring, and hair design.

At the heart of Jessee’s work is a commitment to raising the standard of professional haircolor while widening access to legitimate, supported career pathways. Whether on the salon floor or on an education stage, Jessee is known for meeting professionals where they are, teaching with clarity, and championing growth that is both inspiring and achievable.
